About
Peter Miller - a successful and prolific British artist, who, during his long career, was likened by art critics to renowned creatives such as Picasso, Vuillard and Bonnard.
Over the course of his life he produced a very large body of work - some 3500 paintings, covering a wide range of styles from abstract to fine art in oils.
His works reflect his passions and interests, which were diverse and numerous; culminating in the last 20 years of his life, in detailed and highly accurate depictions of luxury cars such as Bentley and Rolls Royce.
Although not actively political, his early works covered political themes such as the Kennedy assassination and Irish Troubles, with the more ethereal side of his nature captured in his delicate paintings of ballet dancers and striking scenic works of places which he loved and gravitated towards.
